Rumors are abounding about how the NFL will handle the scheduling conflict between the first game of the season and John McCain's acceptance speech at the RNC Convention in St. Paul.

The NFL is currently scheduled to hold its kickoff gam on Thursday, September 4th, but wit hte RNC meeting in St. Paul from September 1-4, and McCain scheduled to give his acceptance speech on September 4th, all plans are now in doubt. The NFL is considering its options and could do anything from cancelling the opening game, to moving it to another night.

Our creative solution is to hold the game as scheduled and let McCain do his speech during halfime. The NFL holds its game, McCain gets his speech, and millions of viewers will be pleased with the shortest acceptance speech ever. We all win.
