Well, you could have come to the Republican National Convention and drank at all the bars in town until 4 am. But now, you can only do it until 2 am. A local Democrat legislator sponsored a bill that would do just that but it was pulled before it was considered. The legislator said convention planners were pushing her to sponsor the bill, but both the Host Committee and the RNC said they were not involved.

Hmm. I'm thinking she just wanted to look good for about a week.
