Why Anarchists Don't Rule the World...and Liberals Can't PDF Print E-mail

The RNC Welcoming Committee isn't happy about the recent article in MinnPost, "Unlikely as it might seem, St. Paul's top security cop is gaining the trust of some GOP convention protesters." In a general e-mail I received yesterday, the Welcoming Committee claims the article was misleading, because "Bostrom (and Grow) [the author of the MinnPost piece) suggest[s] that some protesters are good, and others are bad," among other errors.

Bostrom, as you recall, is the assistant police chief heading up security at the Republican National Convention. In the MinnPost piece, Grow painted Bostrom as friendly--or at least open--towards the protesters. The e-mail continued:

"If Bostrom wants snitches, he will have to import them. Here in Minnesota, we will focus all of our energy on the troublemakers inside the Xcel Center Republican conventioneers, meeting to plan and promote an agenda of war and misery.

This e-mail is a great example of the political confusion going on between liberals and anarchists, and demonstrates why neither will successfully run this country. The liberals at MinnPost can't get their facts straight, and the anarchists can't agree on, or accurately communicate, their methods of protesting, which have in the past proven to be ineffective.

Not that I needed encouragement, but I'll file this one under reason #453 as to why I'll remain a firm Republican.
