If you're a drinker and one with an extra few hundred dollars lying around, St. Paul Grill is the place to be during the Republican National Convention. From the Saturday Pioneer Press:
Costumers can buy a "pony shot" of 55-year-old single-malt scotch, fresh from a famed 184-year-old distillery in the Scottish Highlands.
For $525 a glass.
Remember folks, a pony shot is 1 ounce. While this kind of scotch is drank for the flavor, if John McCain is our nominee, one might need a few drinks to get through this convention.
It definitely gives the phrase, "I'll buy you a drink," a whole new meaning.
