And that's no myth.
The Republican National Convention announced GM will be its official vehicle provider to the 2008 convention. While some news outlets are reporting this as a move on GM's part to return to its "base," (last year, apparently, they hooked up with Rush Limbaugha and Sean Hannity, HT: The Truth About Cars), I'm not giving GM credit for leaning Republican. They know a good party--and a good opportunity to make money-- when they see one: they're also the official vehicle provider for the 2008 Democratic National Convention.
The dollar, as I've said before, knows no party.
Good thing is though, for Republicans (and I suppose, Democrats), the fleet GM is offering is their greenest to date: it will consist of mostly flexible-fuel and hybrid model vehicles.
Think the nominee will ride around in the Cadillac Escalade?
